the staff here were super friendly and really helpful, always smiling and making you feel welcome. the family room we got was huge and clean, with fresh sheets and loads of tea and coffee supplies. breakfast was yummy too, lots of options and always refilled fresh. location was chill, only a short walk to the beach, and the parking situation was sorted perfect for us. loved having a cozy bar area for drinks after a long day out.
the hotel is kinda dated, and some parts looked like they needed a facelift. also, could hear everything from other rooms, which made it hard to sleep sometimes.

the location is great and the staff are super friendly. breakfast was tasty n had a good variety. the family room was large n comfy with lots of plug sockets. the atmosphere is chill and relaxed, and i really liked the bar area for hanging out.
the room was really dated and the bathroom needed a deep clean, like there was hair everywhere. also, the cold tap was warm n took ages to get cold water, which was super annoying.

We had a really nice stay with comfy beds and enjoyed the cozy lounge with board games while our kids played safely in the garden area. The breakfast spread was quite nice, giving us a great start to the day, but the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty. it was a pleasant experience, and I’d recommend checking it out for a short getaway! 😊

Charming hotel with friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to the cliffs and beach. the rooms, while clean, could use a bit more attention to detail, like additional charging outlets and updating decor. a pleasant experience.

The Ullswater had a charming lift that made navigating easy for us seniors, and the friendly staff were always nearby to lend a helping hand. The bar area was cozy, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
Better cleaning standards needed, especially in the rooms.

Good location but cleanliness and service issues
The hotel was conveniently located just a short stroll from the beach. the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with long hairs in the bathroom that didn’t belong to us and an overall dated feel in the decor. While staff were friendly, there was a noticeable lack of organization at the reception, which added to our disappointment.

Good location and spacious room made for a pleasant stay, with friendly reception staff adding to the positive experience. the room showed signs of neglect with cracked bathroom fixtures, noise issues from the extractor fan, and cleanliness concerns, including dirty windows. The high parking charge further marred the experience.

Bournemouth's foodie scene is a total game-changer! Westcliff Tapas served up some epic small plates just 0.2 km away, and Miso Korean was a delight with those spicy dishes! Plus, the location was on point for hitting up local eateries.
The whole experience at The Ullswater was a proper letdown. The family room Reeked with smoke, and after moving, the second room was grimy! Weed-filled hallways and poor management really put a damper on things.

Excellent Staff and Great Location
I had a lovely stay with my better half, mainly due to the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel truly welcomed. The spacious family room we stayed in was comfortable, and the breakfast options were plentiful, with something to suit everyone's taste. We appreciated being so close to the town centre and the beach, making it easy to explore the area. I think the decor could use some updating to enhance the overall vibe of the hotel.

Ideal for groups looking for a good time
So, we had this massive stag do and it was exactly what we needed. The bar was well stocked, and they let us have the drinks flow while the staff were super friendly and always around to help out.
Not exactly a budget-friendly place, but honestly it was still okay for what we got.
